We have the pleasure to announce that we are going to organize a program on Chandraketugarh, an important archaeological site in the district of North 24 Parganas of West Bengal. The program will consist of a Photography exhibition, Slide shows, screening of Documentary films, Seminars (comprising scholars in the field of archaeology; historians; government officials; students and other eminent personalities) and a cultural program with a special emphasis on participation of students from schools, colleges and universities to sensitize them about the rich cultural heritage we belong to. It will be held at Deulia Junior Basic School of Village – Berachampa, Post office – Debalaya, P.S. – Deganga, District – North 24 Parganas from 22nd October, 2013 to 28th October, 2013.
